The CapCut, one of the most popular video and image editing applications in the world, will now integrate features directly into Gemini, Google’s artificial intelligence assistant.
The news was announced by CapCut himself on social media. Although the details of the integration have not yet been released, the company confirmed that some tools from the application developed by ByteDance, owner of TikTok, will be available within Google’s AI platform.
According to CapCut, the proposal is to make content creation processes more connected, intuitive and integrated between different digital tools.
“As workflows become more connected and fluid, we believe the future of creation will be more conversational, intuitive, and intelligently integrated across tools and experiences,” the company said in a post on X.
The application also highlighted that the partnership represents just the beginning of new features involving artificial intelligence and content creation.
So far, Google and CapCut have not explained exactly what functions will be available in the integration or whether any type of paid subscription will be necessary to access the new features.
More details are expected to be released in the coming months.
