Starlance Studios and Ironward launched Zerospace in Early Access today. This is an RTS title highly anticipated by the community due to its emphasis on combinations of factions and subfactions and a significantly expanded co-op mode.
With the early access launch, the developers also added the game’s fourth faction, the Xol. With this, players can create a more or less unique faction from 4 main factions and 6 minor mercenary factions.
At the very least, new mercenaries should be added with the game’s release, not to mention other features such as meta-progression improvements. Interested parties can purchase the title via Steam for R$ 112.49.
And to give you an idea of the community’s expectations, Sasha “Scarlett” Hostyn, a former professional StarCraft II player, moved to developing games like lead balance and multiplayer designer for ZeroSpace.

Available content
The Early Access launch brings act 1 of the campaign, with 12 missions in which the player takes command of Aster of the Protectorate and makes decisions that will influence his role in the Galaxy. Since Steam Next Fest, there is an expectation that the decisions will help with the campaign’s replayability.
In mode Galactic Warwhere most of the cooperative mode takes place, there are 10 missions. Not to mention the seasonal meta game of the fight between factions for dominance in the Orion Sector. Another cooperative way is survival modewhere two players fight endless waves of Grell.
The launch also features ranked versus (1v1 and 2v2) and a full combat mode with support for 1v1, 2v2 and free-for-all against friends or AI opponents. AND some of the PVP maps feature typical PVEVP game mechanics.
Robust Plan

The early access launch already brings a lot of content that RTS players anticipate, with emphasis on the developers of the Galactic War mode themselves. More should be announced until version 1.0 is released.
Although already available, the fourth main faction, Xol, is still in early development and will enter ranked matchmaking after further community balance testing. On the one hand, this shows the developers’ commitment, but it may still disappoint some players.
Meanwhile, players will have the other three ranked options: Protectorate, Grell and Legion.
