Deezer revealed that 44% of new songs uploaded daily to the platform are generated by artificial intelligence. The data was released in a report published by the service this Monday, and the document also shows that around 75 thousand artificially generated tracks are published per day.

Last year, according to the streaming platform, only around 20,000 songs created with AI were published daily, which is equivalent to 18% of the total currently presented. Deezer says it flags identified songs and removes them from user recommendations and prevents their monetization. According to the service, content of this type only accounts for between 1% and 3% of reproductions.

Last November, the platform also released an international study that indicated that 97% of users are unable to differentiate music generated by AI from those produced by humans.
