Capcom has just announced the free release of Leon Must Die Forevernew extra mode for Resident Evil Requiem. The content can now be accessed by PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|Xbox Series S, Steam, Epic Games Store and GeForce NOW players.
According to Capcom, the new mode is unlocked after completing the main campaign and brings an experience focused on intense combat starring Leon S. Kennedy.
New mode focuses on action and replay
In Leon Must Die Foreverplayers revisit areas already explored during the main campaign, facing stronger versions of enemies as they try to defeat the final boss before time runs out.
The mode has five progressive difficulty levels and includes exclusive special abilities called “enhancer abilities”, released as the player eliminates enemies and fills an enhancement bar.
Capcom states that the order of areas, progression and skill options change with each match, increasing the replay factor.



Update also brings improvements on PC
In addition to new content, the update includes bug fixes across different platforms.
On PC, the game now offers full support for DualSense controller features, including adaptive triggers, haptic feedback and motion sensing.
The company also confirmed the launch of new official products inspired by the mode Leon Must Die Foreverincluding t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies.
Another highlight announced by Capcom involves the first official amiibos of the franchise Resident Evil. The figures will be released on July 30th and will feature the characters Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy.
