Harish began his journey at Dell Technologies in March 2022 as a Technical Support Specialist, bringing with him nearly three years of experience in customer service with a U.S.-based media organization. Transitioning from managing magazine subscriptions to supporting Dell notebooks and PCs was a significant shift; one he embraced with enthusiasm and curiosity.

From the outset, he demonstrated strong communication skills, a natural curiosity and the ability to learn quickly. These qualities soon became the foundation of his growth at Dell.

Building ownership from day one

Early in his role, Harish developed a strong sense of ownership. His work extended beyond resolving technical issues; he was contributing to the overall customer experience and supporting Dell’s products at a deeper level.

The first six months were both intense and rewarding. Harish immersed himself in understanding product designs, processes and the complexities of supporting enterprise customers. Working with large businesses across Australia and New Zealand pushed him to think more strategically and respond with agility.

Within his first year, he took on additional responsibilities, mentoring new team members and handling complex areas such as bulk repairs, safety investigations and high-impact technical cases. During this time, he discovered a deeper passion — not just for solving problems, but for learning and helping others grow.

Transitioning into learning and development

Encouraged by his manager and guided by curiosity, Harish began exploring Learning and Development as a long-term career path. This interest led him to pursue an internal opportunity as an Operations Specialist in Talent Development.

The transition marked a significant turning point in his career. After several years in customer service, stepping into Learning and Development felt like a bold reset — but one that aligned closely with his aspirations.

In his new role, Harish embraced being a learner again. He gained exposure to operations, enablement and leadership development at a global scale. His work involved supporting programs that reached employees across regions, roles and career stages.

From onboarding initiatives to leadership development programs, Harish saw firsthand the collaboration and effort required to create meaningful learning experiences. Knowing that his contributions enabled these journeys brought a strong sense of purpose to his work.

Enabling growth through learning

Each project became an opportunity for Harish to learn, improve and create meaningful impact. His focus has been on enhancing the learner experience, simplifying processes and removing friction so that learning feels seamless and effective.

Through his work, Harish witnessed the power of learning in action — helping individuals grow faster, enabling leaders to lead with confidence and strengthening team performance. Supporting these outcomes has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of his role.

He thrives in environments that value curiosity and innovation. Challenging traditional ways of working, experimenting with new ideas and continuously improving systems are all part of how he drives impact. The trust and encouragement from leadership have played a key role in enabling him to bring these ideas to life.

The power of people and connections

One of the most defining aspects of Harish’s journey at Dell has been the people.

From the very beginning, he recognized that Dell is an organization built on relationships, trust and shared ownership. An early conversation with Santosh TK, Director of Talent Acquisition, had a lasting impact on him. It reshaped his perspective on growth and reinforced the importance of building meaningful connections over titles.

This belief was further strengthened through his work in Learning and Development. Collaborating with leaders, facilitators and teams across the globe demonstrated how strong relationships drive real results. Conversations turned into action, trust removed barriers and collaboration accelerated outcomes.

Harish has seen how strong connections simplify complex work, unlock solutions and enhance effectiveness. At Dell, people don’t work in silos — they support, challenge and uplift each other, creating a culture that is both engaging and impactful.

Supporting the next generation

A meaningful part of Harish’s role is engaging with new hires. From managing new hire trainings to planning global leadership development programs, he plays a role in shaping the early experiences of employees and leadership at Dell.

He encourages new joiners to explore Dell’s culture, join ERGs and build meaningful connections, approach their journey with curiosity and confidence.

Creating impact beyond the role

Beyond his core responsibilities, Harish actively collaborates across teams, contributing wherever he can add value. This approach has helped solve challenges faster, streamline processes and strengthen collaboration across functions.

His people-first mindset extends into volunteering and inclusion initiatives. He has contributed to employee experience programs like Be The Game and the TrueAbility Employee Resource Group, helping create spaces where individuals feel included, valued and heard.

Harish also supports Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives that drive meaningful community impact and inclusion within Dell.

Outside of work, he enjoys riding, running and playing badminton. He is also actively involved in volunteering with organizations focused on education, hunger relief and supporting people with disabilities.

A journey shaped by growth and purpose

Harish’s journey at Dell Technologies has been fast-paced, challenging and deeply rewarding. It has been shaped by continuous learning, strong relationships and a culture that encourages growth and innovation.
