Anthropic announced an update significant for Claude this Thursday (23), expanding the directory of connected artificial intelligence services. If previously the tool’s focus was on productivity and the corporate environment, now the chatbot integrates lifestyle applications, such as Spotify, Uber, Uber Eats, TripAdvisor and Instacart.
With the new feature, Claude now has more than 200 active connectors. The proposal is to transform AI into a personal assistant capable of performing complex tasks that require communication between different platforms, without the user having to leave the chat tab.
Integration goes beyond the work environment
Since launching its connectors in July 2025, Anthropic has observed that users tend to combine multiple tools into a single workflow. A common professional example is extracting data from an analytics platform, generating a presentation in Canva, and sending it directly to Asana.
Now, this ecosystem logic reaches personal routine. Among the new integrated services, the following stand out:
- Travel and leisure: Booking.com, TripAdvisor, Viator and AllTrails.
- Finance and services: Intuit TurboTax, Credit Karma, Taskrabbit and Thumbtack.
- Consumption and entertainment: Spotify, Audible, Uber, Uber Eats, Instacart and StubHub.
In practice, this means that you can ask Claude to plan a trail on AllTrails and simultaneously ask him to prepare a playlist on Spotify with the exact duration of the route, as detailed by Engadget.
How the new connectors work
The user experience has also been redesigned to be more fluid. Instead of requiring the user to install or switch between programs manually, Claude now suggests the appropriate connector dynamically during the conversation.
When requesting a reservation at a restaurant, for example, the Resy or OpenTable icon may appear directly in the interface, based on the context and preferences already established in the dialog. If there is more than one service option that can meet the request, the AI will present the alternatives so that the user can choose the one they prefer.
Privacy and User Control
A highlight reinforced by Anthropic in its official statement is the maintenance of the privacy policy. The company guarantees that data accessed through these connectors is not used to train Claude’s language models. Additionally, connected platforms do not have access to the history of the user’s other conversations with the chatbot.
AI is also designed with security locks for financial transactions:
- No Ads: Claude remains ad-free and does not accept payments for connector placement.
- Mandatory confirmation: AI cannot complete purchases or reservations autonomously; she is instructed to ask for explicit authorization from the user before completing any action involving payments or scheduling.
The new connectors are now available to users on all plans, with the mobile version currently operating in beta. However, the availability of the mentioned integrations and functionalities depends on the regional operations of each service.
