To tthird part of the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy has not yet received an official announcement from Square Enix, but a leak published on ResetEra forum indicates that the game will be revealed in June 5th.
Still based on the information provided in the forum, this will happen during the presentation of opening of Summer Game Festscheduled for release in early 2027. The directr Naoki Hamaguchi had already signaled that the reveal and launch are approaching.
The user PimplePoppingPunk published the information claiming act on behalf of a source who works at chain between Square Enix marketing and the event team. The source is not a developer; however, he obtained the data (allegedly) while participating in the preparation of the revelation.
According to the reportthe title will be announced asFinal Fantasy VII Returnand will be one of the first presentations of the event, after being rejected as closing of the conference.

The coherence of the leaked title and narrative content

Very unlikely that would make such a profound change, and this precisely in the third and final title of a remake trilogy already enough controversy.
