Opened in 2024, on Rua da Assembleia, in the center of Rio, the Meta Gallery, completely dedicated to different aspects of technological art in Brazil, began to house, since Monday (4), the Rio headquarters of Ebat – Escola Brasileira de Arte e Tecnologia. The project occupies the basement of the property, where workshops and lectures were previously held.

Focusing on training for the new artificial intelligence market and emerging technologies, Ebat is a project created by Metaverse Agency. With in-person training, the space offers 100% free learning, sponsored by Petrobras, via the Culture Incentive Law. After opening in Rio, the school will have centers in Pernambuco, Bahia and Santa Catarina.

The program consists of six modules, lasting a total of ten months, with modules such as Creative Computing, Creative Electronics, Interactive Art and Expanded Audiovisual. The pedagogical coordination is by Malu Fragoso, co-founder of Nano-UFRJ.

– EBAT was created to bring young people and professionals closer to the languages that are already redefining the creative economy. Our focus is to transform access into a concrete opportunity, connecting art, technology and artificial intelligence to practical, free training aligned with the professions that are emerging in Brazil, as well as around the world – highlights Byron Mendes, CEO of Metaverse Agency and EBAT and founder of Meta Gallery.
