Palit releases new official note about changes to the Galax brand

Gamer Hardware

Palit released this Wednesday (6) a new official note in which it once again comments on the misunderstanding last week, when it announced the end of Galax’s operations.

In the new document, the brand highlights that the statements made by Ronaldo Buassali, leader of the Galax brand in Brazil, happened because incorrect information about the future of the brand was shared with him by the company itself.

The document also highlights that Palit, Galax and TecLab, of which Buassali is responsible, will continue to work together to “provide the highest level of support for consumers”.

Clarifying our future and our commitment to the global community.

We want to address some recent confusion regarding the future of the GALAX brand.

First of all, we would like to clarify a communication problem involving the leader of Galax Brasil, Ronaldo, from TecLab.

Due to an internal misunderstanding, some incorrect information was shared with him, and we want to clarify the facts.

We have a long and successful history of working with Ronaldo, whose leadership has kept Galax at the top for years.

Thanks to his work and the incredible team at TecLab, Galax and Palit will continue to provide the best products and the highest level of support to gamers and enthusiasts around the world.

We will follow and maintain the high standards that Ronaldo and TecLab offer to Brazil, because we are extremely committed to the quality and performance of our products, as well as providing the highest level of customer service.

Galax is not leaving the graphics card market, but rather working to develop the best products ever.

We are currently integrating the management of our brands (Galax, KFA2 and HOF) directly under the Palit Group headquarters.

We are fully prepared for the current generation of GPUs and are already working on the next generations to come.

The GALAX, KFA2 and HOF brands are stronger than ever.

We’re excited to keep delivering the best hardware you love.

Understand the case

On April 28, Ronaldo Buassali published on TecLab’s social networks that the Galax brand, which he represents in Brazil, would be coming to an end. The following day, April 29, Palit issued an official note clarifying that everything was just a misunderstanding, and that in fact the Galax brand would continue to exist, but under the Palit umbrella.

This week, Ronaldo Buassali published a video showing documents that would prove that the version he initially published was not “false”. With today’s official note, Palit suggests that Ronaldo actually received incorrect information and, as a result, there was no bad faith in the disclosure, so much so that Palit, Galax and TecLab will continue working together.

Adrenaline spoke with Ronaldo Buassali, who confirmed the information published today by Palit. He also highlighted that he will soon provide more details on how the RMA of Galax GPUs will be in Brazil.
