THE Samsung should take advantage of the European summer period to reveal new foldables but, unlike what happened in previous years, the brand should not stick to just two models.
As rumors have pointed out, Samsung is expected to launch a total of three foldable cell phones this summer: a successor to the Galaxy Z Flip 7, a successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and even a completely new model – known until now as the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide, with a wider format.
Opinions are divided regarding the nomenclature that Samsung intends to adopt for this trio of foldables. The new Galaxy Z Flip 8 should continue to have the characteristic “shell” design, but some rumors indicate that the new model will be the Galaxy Z Fold 8, while the successor to the 2025 Fold will be the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
Names aside, a manufacturer of cell phone accessories, Thinborne would have accidentally shared images of covers for Samsung’s new foldables, which allow us to get an idea of the dimensions these devices will have. You can see these images in the gallery above.
However, information that has been circulating indicates that Samsung’s Samsung Unpacked showcase event will take place near the end of July in London, United Kingdom.
Samsung continues to not comment on the topic, so we will have to wait a little longer for news from the South Korean company.
